We are a club of keen golfers who play over the Braids every Saturday throughout the year. Most of our golf is played in weekly medals or matches and members can arrange their own games using the club's pre-booked times, either their own fourball or putting their name up with other members. Whichever you prefer you can always get a game at the Western on Saturday mornings at a little after 7 or around 9. There are also games on a Wednesday evening through the summer.
Lockers are available from £5 per year and trolleys can be stored and batteries charged in the club. All abilities of golfer are welcome.
We also have a juniors section and arrange informal games and medals especially in the summer.
The club was founded in 1899 and has a rich history. We list Tommy Armour, the 1931 Open champion, among our former members and have several trophies which date back many decades.
Please feel free to explore this website to learn more about the club and it's competitions. Membership is available and details can be found on the membership page.
